The Concept Maple series are high-quality drums made of maple. All bodies are 7-ply except the snare which is 10-ply. Through the experience of the DW Custom Shop, the company has found some special features and details that have a huge impact on sound and quality. Believing that every drummer deserves to benefit from these solutions, PDP uses the Concept Maple kit with the DW STM independent suspension system, True Pitch ™ screws for precise tuning, FAST sized toms, new hoops and Remo heads. The snare drum has a DW MAG throw-off magnetic machine and boutique-style copper springs. The bass drum rim mounts are made of cast material and the remaining elements feature new Dual Turret lugs inspired by retro style.
PDP CONCEPT is a direct reference to the highest DW models. Both in terms of aesthetics and sound.
