Description
Evans Genera HD Coated is a two-ply drumhead, where the outer film is 5 mil (0.13mm) and the inner one is 7 mil (0.19mm). The drumhead is equipped with a 2 mil (0.05mm) muffler, which very precisely removes troublesome harmonics. Even when tightly tuned, it doesn't choke. The sound is full, quite loud and bright. The sustain of the drumhead is short due to its thickness. It is perfectly suited for heavier styles where a full and aggressive rimshot is needed.
