Description
Gretsch Catalina Club is a compact drum set offering full, classic sound with minimal dimensions and a very attractive price. The Catalina Club series was a breakthrough moment in Gretsch's history, as production was moved outside the USA for the first time, using mahogany wood for the shells, which quickly gained recognition from musicians worldwide.
The set combines traditional configurations and the legendary Gretsch sound character with modern, elegant hardware. The heart of the instrument is the 7-ply mahogany shells with 30° bearing edges, which, combined with factory Gretsch made by REMO® drumheads, provide a warm, full, and "vintage" sound with clear lows and a quick attack.
The compact 18” bass drum offers surprisingly great power and is perfect for jazz, blues, funk, pop, acoustic music, as well as club and studio settings. The whole package is completed by solid chrome hardware and the striking Yellow Satin Flame finish.
