Description
The Gretsch Catalina Club series combines classic configurations and legendary, vintage sound with modern hardware solutions. Catalina Club 4-piece sets are based on a 14-inch deep bass drum, which provides a warm, punchy, and very musical sound inspired by the classics.
Modern hardware components give the set a distinctive style that is a tribute to the brand's rich tradition while bringing a breath of fresh air. The "Gas cap" round tom holder mounting plate, Mini GTS mounting system, lightweight reduced-mass tom mounts, and Gretsch T-Wing bolts and wing nuts make the set exceptionally ergonomic and pleasant to use.
Classic mahogany shells are made according to Gretsch's proven formula – with a natural, raw interior and a 30-degree bearing edge, which is responsible for the full, warm, and resonant sound. The bass drum is equipped with telescopic spurs with spikes and wood hoops color-matched to the shell. Toms and snare drum feature 1.6 mm triple-flanged hoops, and all drums are factory-equipped with Remo® drumheads.
The set is sold as a shell pack – without cymbals and stands.
