Words like power, dynamics, and beauty best describe the GRETSCH Full Range 14x6.5" snare drum. The shell made of maple provides a classic, warm sound with bright overtones and excellent sustain.
Stave shell (a snare drum shell made using the stave method from vertical slats) is very dense, and thick reinforcement rings further make the sound louder, sharper and meatier.
The snare drum is finished in a clear satin lacquer, and the bearing edges are cut at 30 degrees. Equipped with Tilco snare wires, 3 mm hoops, and a newly designed throw-off mechanism, it provides everything a drummer could require from a snare drum.
