The Signature series by GRV has gained a perfect finishing touch with the Signature Steel EFX model. Features of a Unique Mini Snare Drum

1 mm steel shell, chrome-plated:
Steel provides a bright, dynamic tone that cuts perfectly through the mix. Thanks to the chrome finish, the snare drum looks elegant and professional while being exceptionally durable.

45° bearing edges:
Precisely crafted edges allow full utilization of the drumhead properties and ensure ease of tuning.

Thinner 1.6 mm hoops:
Unlike the thicker hoops used in other snare drums from this series, thin 1.6 mm hoops were used here. This allows for an exceptionally sharp and high attack – almost like a timbale – making this snare drum an ideal choice for sound effects and fast fills.

F-39 Strainer:
A top-class strainer known from other models in the Signature series. The version used here allows for ultra-precise snare wire adjustment with minimal effort, and its solid construction prevents loosening even in the most demanding stage conditions.

Despite its small dimensions, the snare drum has as many as 6 lugs per side. This solution provides perfect control over the tuning and a precise response of the instrument in both high and low tuning configurations.

High tuning:
When the top drumhead is tightened to the maximum, the snare drum offers a sharp and high sound, reminiscent of a timbale – ideal for accents or fast fills in Latin, funk, or pop music.

Low tuning:
Thanks to the possibility of maximum tension on the bottom drumhead and looseness on the top, the snare drum can generate a fat, modern sound. The resulting slap fits perfectly into electronic and experimental arrangements, giving the drums a new dimension.
