The series consists of graduated rubber cores wrapped in beautiful purple synthetic yarn and cord. The series as a whole is articulate, yet the rubber cores provide absorption and tone. These mallets work best in percussion ensembles, contemporary playing, chamber music, solo playing, and are best suited for marimba, vibraphone, or concert toms.
- RS201, RS251 and RS301 feature mushroom-shaped cores and are tightly wrapped with thread to achieve a rich and fundamentally warm sound.
- RS20(C), RS30(C) and RS40(C), RS50(C) are made with large oval cores and are wrapped in synthetic yarn.
- AA15, AA20, AA25, AA25B, AA25H, AA30 and AA35 are built with hard rubber mushroom-shaped cores and are wrapped in multi-layer orange cord.
All models are built on durable rattan handles and are hand-matched for weight, size, and sound.
