KICKTONE KT1 Dual Concentric Bass Drum Microphone is an innovative, next-generation dynamic microphone designed specifically to capture the full sound spectrum of a bass drum. Its design is based on a patented two-way coaxial configuration. The main diaphragm, made from ultra-lightweight and rigid hemp fiber, delivers deep, punchy, and natural low end with excellent damping, while the secondary dynamic transducer precisely captures high frequencies and fast transients (beater click/attack).
The microphone provides an exceptionally tight, full-bodied, and well-defined tone without the need for complex EQ processing. It stands out with a unique modern aesthetic and two mounting options: on a standard microphone stand or directly onto the bass drum resonant head. The included slide bracket allows for instant mounting directly into a KickPort.
