Description
The Mapex Armory Exterminator is a high-quality snare drum made of birch and walnut. It features 2.3 mm Power hoops, unique "tube lugs" (lugs common to both hoops), and steel snare wires from the Black Panther snare with brass ends. Additionally, the new SONIClear Bearing Edge system has been applied, increasing the contact between the drumhead and the shell and allowing the drumhead to sit flat on the drum edge, which enhances the transfer of shell vibrations. This makes it easier to tune the instrument and achieve a powerful, focused sound.
