MEINL OSTD3DGE Octave Steel Tongue Drum Dark Green

The Octave Steel Tongue Drum from the Meinl Sonic Energy series is a unique relaxation instrument made of high-quality stainless steel. Thanks to its special design, it produces a warm, deep, and exceptionally harmonious sound reminiscent of a Handpan, making it ideal for meditation, sound therapy, yoga, or playing music at home.

At the center of the instrument is a deep bass tone, with eight additional notes arranged around it. Each of them consists of two tongues (reeds) that generate sound in two octaves, creating a full, spacious, and highly soothing tone. The instrument is tuned to the F major scale, so even people with no musical experience can immediately create harmonious melodies.

On the bottom of the drum there is a resonance hole that can be closed with a silicone plug to achieve a more focused and compact sound. Three silicone feet prevent the instrument from sliding during play. The tongue drum can be played with mallets or with the fingers – simply place it on a flat surface or on your lap and begin exploring its meditative sounds.

The set includes two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a durable zippered carrying bag with a handle, allowing the instrument to be safely stored and easily taken along when traveling.
