Description
The new Paiste 900 series features cymbals manufactured in the company's Swiss factory, traditionally for Paiste using machine techniques from the highest category B8 bronze (using the alloy known as 2002 Bronze) under strict computer control. The Paiste 900 series sound is designed to reference the old 1000 series—sandy, with emphasized high overtones. For tonal balance, the cymbals are slightly aged, which makes the sound slightly darker, the sustain shorter, and the presence exceptional.
