Description
PAISTE PST X Swiss Flanger Crash 16" – effect crash cymbal with a short, warm, and complex sound
This is an effect cymbal from the Paiste PST X series with a 16" diameter. The model works well as an additional cymbal for short accents, quick entries, and unusual sound colors in a drum set or percussion setup.
The sound is warm, exotic, slightly fluttering, and gently metallic. The cymbal has a medium frequency range, a complex mix of harmonics, and short sustain. Thanks to this, it cuts through well as an effect, but does not take up much space in the mix and fades quickly after the hit.
Swiss Flanger Crash 16" responds very quickly and has a soft, slightly loose feel under the stick. It works well for precise accents, fills, short effect parts, and situations where a classic crash would be too long or too bright.
The cymbal can also be used for hand playing, so it fits not only standard drum kits, but also hybrid, percussion, and experimental setups.

Additional information:
Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Crash 16" is designed to create a short, fast-decaying effect. It can complement classic crashes, splashes, and china-type cymbals, especially when a more unusual, rough, and soft accent is needed.
The model works well in fusion, pop, electronic music, alternative music, experimental playing, and as an additional effect in a rock setup. Thanks to its quick response and compact diameter, it can be easily added to an expanded setup without taking up much space.
