The MaxXL rod was created for demanding musicians who practice many genres of music such as: jazz, pop, fusion, rock, classical, and symphonic music. The MaxXL rod gives an exceptional sound on both cymbals and all types of drums, including the orchestral bass drum. This unique rod was built from many 2 mm rods of selected and hardened bamboo grass set in an oval PVC grip. On the volume scale, the MaxXL rod is the loudest brush from Palisso. A movable rubber band placed on the brush allows for adjustment of the rod dispersion, making it easy to achieve a more focused and resonant sound.
Due to the very thick, oval grip, playing with this type of rod is pure pleasure.
