Description
These rods were created from naturally hewn bamboo, which has been double-hardened. The individual rods are shaped like elliptical plates wrapped around a bamboo core. This type of rod is addressed to those drummers who are looking for a lightweight, highly durable rod providing a sound that has never been heard before. Playing on a cymbal, the tone is enriched with a "stick" effect resulting from the plates hitting each other. A sliding impact-resistant rubber band allows for adjustment of the plate spread, giving the ability to determine the right proportions between the instrument's sound and the sound coming from the roll ruta, as well as the sound intensity. On the volume scale compared to other Palisso Percussion rods, the Roll Ruta sits between the standard MEDIUM-HARD bamboo rod and the KOMBI-SOFT brush. Thanks to the use of very durable components for the handle, it is also possible to play with this part without fear of damage, while maintaining playing comfort with the oval grip. Roll Rutas have very good rebound, and playing rolls, flams, and drags with them is not a problem at all.
