Description
Pearl R2 Air Tom Suspension System is an advanced tom suspension system that redefines the physics of drum resonance. Thanks to its innovative floating suspension design, toms are completely isolated from the mounting hardware, allowing for unrestricted and natural sound.
The R2 Air system suspends the tom on a unique, two-point isolation platform (top-bottom), perfectly balanced relative to the drum shell center – the point with the best resonance properties. This solution ensures not only maximum sustain and tonal clarity, but also sonic consistency across the entire drum set, making the kit sound like one integrated instrument.
The result of two years of research and development is a four-point isolation system that completely eliminates the impact of holders on the drum's sound.
R2 Air is compatible with standard Pearl tom holders with a 7/8" diameter, offering optimal sound at any setup angle using only one adjustment point.
