Snareweight 017-DFR Fader - adjustable snare drum dampener
Snareweight Fader is an adjustable snare drum dampener designed to control sustain, overtones, and decay length. The model allows the amount of damping to be set with a slider, from light control up to the “off” position, where the dampener does not affect the drumhead.
The dampener presses a leather element against the drumhead, reducing unwanted resonances without sticking gels, tape, or other elements directly to the head. An additional knob allows the tension of the damping element to be adjusted and matched to a specific snare drum and tuning.
Fader works especially well for recording, live playing, and situations where a quick change of snare drum character is needed without retuning. The magnetic mounting system allows the dampener to be removed from the drum quickly.

The product is designed for triple flanged hoops, die-cast hoops, and Angel Hoops. It is not recommended for arc hoops or stick saver hoops.
