Snareweight M80 Sea Foam - magnetic dampener for snare drum and toms

Snareweight M80 is a magnetic dampener for controlling overtones, sustain, and drum decay length. The model works without glue, tape, or gels, so it does not stick to the drumhead and can be quickly removed from the instrument.

M80 offers four damping levels: mild, medium, heavy, and off. The leather damping element can be positioned in different ways, allowing the level of control to be matched to the drum tuning, playing style, and recording conditions.

The Sea Foam version has a color inspired by the paint of a classic 1961 Chevrolet. The dampener works well on snare drums and toms, especially when shorter sustain is needed without completely removing the natural character of the drum.

Additional information:

Snareweight M80 fits many drum sizes, including 8", 9", 10", 12", 13", 14", 16", and 18". It can be used on snare drums, toms, and floor toms.

The dampener works with triple flanged hoops, die-cast hoops, Angel Hoops, true hoops, brass hoops, and 1/4" wood hoops. It is not recommended for Tama Arc Hoops.

The magnetic mounting allows the dampener to be quickly removed from the drum or flipped away when it is not needed. This is a practical solution for studio work, live playing, and situations where the drum decay length needs to be changed quickly.
