TAMA S.L.P. Hybrid Maple/Bubinga Snare 14"x6.5" (MZB)
This limited snare drum from the TAMA Sound Lab Project series is a unique combination of sound and style. The 7 mm thick shell consists of 6 plies of bubinga, 2 plies of maple, and an outer zebrawood veneer, finished in a striking Midnight Zebrawood Burst lacquer. Bubinga provides depth and power to the sound, while maple introduces brightness and musicality. This hybrid construction ensures an exceptionally balanced and versatile tone.
The 6.5-inch depth provides a low resonant response, while the 2.3 mm Sound Arc Hoops (10-lug) enhance attack and control over the sound. The snare is equipped with Starclassic Hi-Carbon Steel snare wires (MS20SN14C) and elegant MCHL5S lugs.
