TAMA Starclassic Bubinga Limited Edition 2026 is a high-end drum kit made from rare African Bubinga, a wood known for its very dense structure and substantial mass. As a result, this kit delivers exceptionally powerful low end, strong projection, and a characteristically dark, deep tone.

The shells retain the classic 9-ply, 6 mm construction (7 mm on the bass drum), providing an ideal balance between attack, sustain, and dynamics. The outer ply is made of striking Figured African Cherry, giving the instrument an elegant and distinctive appearance.

To fully take advantage of the acoustic properties of the wood, the toms and floor toms feature deeper shells, increasing low-frequency response and sound projection. The bass drum was designed without a shell-mounted tom holder, allowing for freer resonance.

The kit is equipped with a range of professional TAMA design solutions, such as the Star-Cast Mounting System for maximum tom resonance, Quick-Lock Tom Brackets for fast setup, and Air Cushioned Floor Tom Legs, which increase stability and reduce vibration transfer to the floor.

The setup is completed with Die-Cast hoops, Evans® drumheads, and elegant Black Nickel hardware that emphasizes the exclusive character of the kit.
