Specification:
- 100% maple shells - Tom, floor tom, and snare drum were made of 6 layers with a thickness of 5 mm, while the bass drum was made of 8 layers with a total thickness of 7 mm. The highest priority in the production of the Superstar drum series was sound. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of Superstar drums were achieved through the use of carefully selected maple plies, as well as a focus on shell molding and bearing edge shape.
- Power Craft II Drumheads - All Superstar "Power Craft II" drumheads (except for the DUO snare) provide excellent sound practically right out of the box! Ring mufflers on the bass drum drumheads eliminate the need for additional internal dampening.
- Tom Holder - TAMA L-Rod and Omnisphere tom holder systems offer easy drum placement, maximum flexibility, stability, and a fuller sound than standard designs.
