Description
VATAN VDT-124-B is a classic Turkish darbuka, made of lightweight but durable aluminum. It is a percussion instrument popular in Middle Eastern and North African music, as well as in folk and ethnic music worldwide.
With a drumhead diameter of 18.5 cm and a height of 34 cm, the VDT-124 model offers a well-balanced sound – deep "dum" in the lower register and sharp, crisp "tek" in the higher tones. The plastic drumhead provides greater durability and resistance to changing weather conditions compared to traditional skin heads.
