Description
Handmade djembe from Ghana is an instrument that impresses with its authentic sound and careful craftsmanship. The shell has been carved from a single tree trunk, which ensures excellent resonance and durability. The head made from selected goat skin provides a rich, natural sound, while the rope tuning system allows precise tuning of the instrument.
Thanks to its low weight (1.5–2 kg), the djembe is easy to transport and works well for both children and adults. Its wide sound range makes it possible to produce clear basses, tones, and slaps, so the instrument is suitable for learning as well as more advanced playing.
It is an ideal choice for music workshops, educational classes, group music-making, and integration events. Additionally, when using a playing technique typical of the darbuka, with the instrument held under the arm, the djembe can also be used for professional playing.
