Big Fat Snare Drum The Shining Donut 14"

Drum dampener for a 14" snare drum or tom, designed for a quick change of sound character. The Shining Donut is placed directly on the drumhead, allowing you to achieve a lower, shorter, and more controlled sound without retuning the drum.

The model features a mirrored Mylar surface and a donut construction with a 6" central cutout. This allows the dampener to reduce overtones and shorten sustain while leaving the natural attack and better playing feel in the center of the drumhead.

The Shining Donut is thinner and more responsive than the standard Donut, so it provides faster response and less heavy dampening. It works well when a drier, more focused sound is needed without completely choking the drum.
