Concept™ Maple Exotics drums are built from maple shells, wrapped in inner and outer veneers of rich Honey Mahogany and finished with a high-gloss clear lacquer.
Concept™ Exotics offer the same high-end features as their cousin, Concept™ Maple. 7-ply Concept™ Fast Toms™ come in F.A.S.T. (Fundamentally Accurate Sized Toms) sizes, ensuring each Fast Tom® is built to provide maximum resonance. Rack toms utilize advanced STM (Suspension Tom Mounts), while floor toms stand on strong, massive legs that still allow the shell to resonate freely. The 10-ply snare drum features the trusted MAG throw-off, along with fully-chromed snare wires made of carbon steel with brass tips. 7-ply bass drums are built with die-cast low-mass claw hooks. Finally, like all Concept™ drums, Concept™ Exotics are equipped with DW True Pitch tension rods, our retro-inspired dual-turret lugs, and world-renowned Remo drumheads.
And the sound? Concept™ Exotics fill the room with extraordinary warmth and projection. Additional toms are also available for order to adapt to many different musical styles.
