Concept™ Exotics offer the same features found in higher-end drums , like their cousin Concept™ Maple. 7-ply Concept™ Fast Toms™ come in sizes F.A.S.T. (Fundamentally Accurate Sized Toms) ensure that each Fast Tom® is built for maximum resonance. Rack toms use advanced STM (Suspension Tom Mounts), while floor toms stand on strong, massive legs that still allow the body to resonate freely. The 10-ply snare features the trusted MAG mechanism, along with fully chrome snare springs that are made from carbon steel with brass tips. The 7-ply bass drums are constructed from die-cast, low-mass claw hooks. Finally, like all Concept™ drums, Concept™ Exotics feature DW True Pitch head bolts, our retro-inspired double lugs and world-famous Remo heads.
And the sound? Concept™ Exotics fills the room with extraordinary warmth and projection. Additional volumes are also available to order to accommodate many different musical styles.
