Evans Black Chrome are the first glossy, mirrored, two-ply drumheads, characterized by a punchy sound, balanced sustain, and extraordinary ease of tuning. The drumhead consists of a 7-mil clear ply and a top 8-mil black ply. This achieved a combination of increased durability and a mirrored look. Two plies provide controlled sustain and emphasize the mid and low frequencies of the acoustic range.
