18" bass drum drumhead - can be used as a batter (beater side) as well as a reso (resonant) - on the front of the bass drum. Evans '56 Series Calftone drumheads are made of a synthetic material imitating calfskin drumheads. This is a product for retro style enthusiasts; these drumheads provide a warm and focused sound and ensure a truly vintage look. The name Calftone '56 refers to 1956, the year Evans was founded.
