Description
The Evans EMAD2 System Pack 18" drumhead set is a complete kit that gives you full control over your bass drum sound. It includes two drumheads: the EMAD2 batter and the EMAD Reso resonant head, allowing you to precisely adjust the attack, focus, and sustain of your bass drum.
The EMAD2 batter drumhead is constructed of two layers of film – one 7 mil and the other 10 mil thick, providing a powerful attack and deep low end. Additionally, thanks to two interchangeable damping rings, you can easily adjust the sustain length to your own preferences.
The EMAD Reso resonant drumhead is made of a single layer of 10 mil film and features a microphone port located on the side, which simplifies miking and allows for a more controlled sound. An additional foam damping ring around the port reduces unwanted overtones and improves sound clarity.
Both drumheads utilize Evans Level 360 technology, which guarantees a perfect fit to the drum hoop, easier tuning, and even tension across the entire surface.
