REMAD 4” Port Protector is an external damping system inspired by the legendary EVANS EMAD solution. It was designed for 4-inch microphone ports in resonant bass drum drumheads, offering precise tone control without invasive interference with the drum.

Using the REMAD ring allows for effective reduction of unwanted overtones, improved sound focus, enhanced attack, and stabilized pitch. The set includes a removable foam ring, which allows for further adjustment of the damping level and customization of the sound character to your own preferences.
