Using all of Evans' experience and several breakthrough technologies, a mesh drumhead of excellent quality and parameters was successfully created. They reduce volume by 80% while maintaining the tone of a full-volume kit and preserving a natural playing feel. Thanks to specially designed Impact Patches that reinforce the striking surface while enhancing audible attack and articulation, you can practice naturally and quietly, whenever and wherever you want.
Evans low volume cymbals featuring dBalance technology are made from a spirally perforated stainless steel alloy. The volume relative to a standard cymbal has been reduced by 80%, while maintaining a sound and resonance as distinct as many full-volume sets. Ideal for practicing at home or in places requiring lower volume levels.
