GRETSCH Catalina Maple 22"/8"/10"/12"/14"/16"/14" Deep Cherry Burst – maple drum set with snare drum
Gretsch Catalina Maple acoustic drum set has 7-ply maple shells and an expanded setup with three toms, two floor toms, bass drum, and snare drum. The Deep Cherry Burst finish has a dark red-cherry character.
The shells are made from maple, with 30° bearing edges. This construction gives a warm, full sound, clear attack, and a wide tuning range. The 22" x 16" bass drum gives a stable low end, while the 8", 10", and 12" toms and 14" and 16" floor toms allow a wide range of fills.
The set uses chrome hardware, 2.3 mm steel hoops, and Gretsch made by Remo heads. The set also includes a double tom holder and an 8" tom clamp, needed for mounting the toms in the set.
