Description
Gretsch Catalina Maple acoustic drum set has 7-ply maple shells and an expanded configuration with three toms, two floor toms, bass drum, and snare drum. The Satin Deep Cherry Burst finish has a satin character and a dark red-cherry shade.
The shells are made from maple, with 30° bearing edges. This construction gives a warm, full sound, clear attack, and a wide tuning range. The 22" x 16" bass drum provides a solid low end, while the 8", 10", and 12" toms and 14" and 16" floor toms give a wide range for fills and sound setups.
The set uses chrome hardware, 2.3 mm steel hoops, and Gretsch made by Remo heads. The set also includes a double tom holder and an 8" tom clamp needed for mounting the toms in the set.
The product is marked as B-Stock. This means the item may show signs of display, transport, storage, or previous unpacking. Any marks are cosmetic and should not affect normal use of the instrument.
