Shells made of maple - 7 plies. Maple shells provide a classic, warm, and full sound. 30-degree bearing edges - similar to the flagship Gretsch USA Custom model. The redesigned GTS suspension system for Renown series toms features four points of contact using the lugs while remaining exceptionally lightweight, ensuring long drum resonance. The shells are coated on the inside with Gretsch's signature silver paint - Silver Sealer.
