When Mike approached Gretsch Drums about developing a new snare drum concept, it was a meeting written in stars. This snare drum combines the classic 6-ply Brooklyn maple/poplar shell with several high-performance additions.
Durable, engraved Gretsch 302 rims (3.0 mm double flange) are mounted on double 45-degree bearing edges. Old school internal muffler. The whole is complemented by a Silver Sealed interior and Mike Johnston's signature.
