GRV B20 Dual Crash 18" is a versatile cymbal that fits perfectly into both dynamic and more atmospheric playing. Its tonal character can be described as slightly dark – it is not as bright and shrill as typical crashes, thus offering a more balanced and musical decay. This tone blends great in a band, not cutting through intrusively, but rather giving the overall sound a fuller, warmer character.

The B20 bronze from which the cymbal is made is considered the best alloy for producing professional percussion instruments. This combination of 80% copper and 20% tin gives the cymbal depth, a richness of overtones, and exceptional durability. As a result, the Crash not only sounds noble but also retains its sonic properties through years of intensive playing.

The Dual finish – combining a raw, hammered surface with parts polished to a natural shine – influences the unique sound characteristics.
