GRV CA-4PB Pro Birch DuoSwitch Pickup Cajon is a true gem in the world of percussion instruments – a unique, double-sided cajon that offers two completely different, professional sound characteristics in one compact instrument, and additionally allows for easy and fast amplification thanks to the built-in active pickup.

On one side is a string front plate, made from a combination of birch and zebrawood, equipped with precise string tension adjustment, allowing you to perfectly tailor the sound to your needs – from warm, velvety tones to powerful, distinct slaps.
The second front, made of a striking combination of birch and walnut, houses a snare wire with a Switch function, which allows you to turn the snare on or off in an instant. This lets you switch instantly from a full "snare" character to a clean, acoustic sound.

The built-in active pickup allows you to seamlessly connect the cajon to a PA system or interface, while offering gain control and tone control, giving full control over the sound on stage and in the studio. The cajon features a 6.3 mm Jack socket, and the set includes a practical jack/jack cable and a 9V battery to power the pickup – so the instrument is ready to play straight out of the box.

The natural birch shell provides exceptional sound projection and deep, beefy bass that really impresses. The side-mounted resonance port further emphasizes the low bass and gives the slap sharpness and a short, dynamic character.
