GRV CAJ-TR Travel Cajon

GRV CAJ‑TR Travel Cajon is a compact, flat cajon created specifically for musicians who do not want to sacrifice full, concert sound even when traveling. Despite its small size, the instrument impresses with surprisingly deep bass, a clear slap, and a wide dynamic range – all in a format that you can easily fit into a backpack or travel bag.

The cajon shell is made of high-quality sapele wood, which not only looks beautiful but above all provides a warm, rich sound. The front plate made of an elegant combination of sapele and birch adds clarity, bounce, and a characteristic "sizzle" to the sound, making the instrument sound professional and suitable for both stage performances and intimate, acoustic situations – e.g., at a campfire or jam session.

The cajon is equipped with removable snare wires mounted on an elastic strap. Thanks to this, in a few seconds you can go from a classic snare sound with a sizzle to a clean, more "bongo-like" character – this is immense versatility in such a small instrument!

In the middle of the instrument, you will hear warm, deep bass, while on the edges a strong, sharp slap with a fast attack, allowing for both dynamic rhythms and subtle, acoustic parts.
