GRV F-44 Snare Drum Throw-Off + Butt – snare strainer with butt plate
GRV F-44 set includes a snare drum throw-off and a butt plate for snare wires. The parts are designed for installation on a snare drum, instrument repair, or replacement of worn hardware.
The snare throw-off is used to engage and disengage the snare wires and to adjust their tension. The butt plate, mounted on the opposite side of the shell, stabilizes the other end of the snare wires and helps keep the whole mechanism correctly positioned.
The set works well for snare drum servicing, instrument restoration, or building a custom drum. Before installation, it is worth checking the hole spacing in the shell and comparing it with the dimensions given in the specifications.
