Description
Kalimbas are tuned melodic instruments originating from southern Africa, where they can be found in countless shapes and designs. The Kalimba B15 is meticulously handcrafted from solid American cherry (black cherry) in Walsrode. The wooden body is treated with vegetable oils and wax for greater durability. 15 metal tines are precisely tuned to the G major scale, allowing for a variety of songs to be played. The Kalimba B15 is equally suited for improvisation and intuitive playing as it is for chordal accompaniment of melodies.
