Description

David Friedman series vibraphone and marimba mallets were designed for the world-renowned percussionist, composer, and educator, David Friedman.
Marimba mallets are cord-wrapped, vibraphone models are wrapped in synthetic yarn, and all models are built on rattan handles.

The DF20 SOFT MARIMBA is a heavier mallet that draws a beautiful fundamental tone from the instrument, ideal for accompaniment and soloing in the lower and middle registers.

The DF25 MARIMBA is a versatile mallet that features a wide color palette, sounding full in all registers. It works perfectly in ensemble settings.

The DF30 VIBRAPHONE produces a full, deep sound while remaining capable of speaking through an ensemble without being overly aggressive and is perfectly suited for all instrumental settings.

The DF30L LIGHT VIBRAPHONE is ideal for players who prefer a lighter mallet that still generates a full sound. It is perfect for solo play but can create the rich tonality needed for a soft ballad.
