Meinl Percussion Alpine Djembe 12" Barnwood
12" diameter djembe from the Meinl Percussion Alpine series, designed for playing in different conditions, also outside a rehearsal room or studio. The lightweight construction makes transport easier, while the synthetic shell and head work well for frequent carrying and regular use.
The instrument offers deep low tones and a clear, bright attack when playing open tones and slaps. The synthetic head provides a stable response and does not require the same care as natural skin, which is practical for outdoor playing and changing environmental conditions.
The mechanical tuning system allows the head tension to be adjusted with the integrated tuning key. This makes tuning simpler and more predictable than on traditional rope-tuned djembes.
The Barnwood finish gives the instrument a natural, wood-like look while maintaining the durability of synthetic materials.
