MEINL Byzance Extra Dry Dual Splash 10" – selected and signed by Chris Coleman
Cymbal with a very dry tonal character, low pitch, short sustain, and a clear attack. The raw, unlacquered surface and intensive hammering contribute to a dark, earthy sound, especially at lower volume levels.
This piece was selected by the Silesia Drum team together with Chris Coleman (Silesia Drum Festival) during a visit to the Meinl headquarters. A unique, one-of-a-kind cymbal.
Visible natural marks on the cymbal surface are the result of direct contact during the artist’s selection process. The selection is performed without gloves to allow direct interaction with the instrument and precise sound evaluation.
