Meinl Classics Custom Dark Expanded Set cymbal pack includes the following configuration: 14" hi-hat, 16" crash, 18" china, and 20" ride. This setup makes it possible to build a complete basic cymbal configuration with an additional china-type effects cymbal.
The cymbals are made from B12 Bronze. The sound is bright, loud, and expressive, with a strong attack and fairly long sustain. The Classics Custom Dark series works well in rock, metal, fusion, pop, and other styles that require a clear and cutting cymbal sound.
The Dark finish, along with Pressure Point Technology and computerized hammering, affects the character of the cymbals: the sound is powerful, fast in response, and focused. The hi-hat provides a rhythmic foundation, the 16" crash is used for quick accents, the 18" china adds an effect-oriented, more aggressive color, and the 20" ride works well for keeping the rhythm.
