Meinl Deep Hats are unique cymbals that fill the sonic space between hi-hats and crashes. They provide the perfect combination of a dark, soft tone, the right level of wash and trashiness, and distinct articulation. This makes them excellent for various musical applications.
They can be used as a half-open hi-hat, acting as a subtle "crash-ride" but with a more subdued and controlled sound. Their unique design was created in collaboration between Meinl artists and the R&D team to deliver innovative and inspiring sounds, allowing drummers to explore new musical paths.
