Description
Clay Aeschliman Signature drumsticks were designed with versatility, precision and excellent rebound in mind. The 0.580" (14.7 mm) diameter and 16.5" (419 mm) length provide a solid, stable feel, superb control and increased reach – ideal for both technical and dynamic playing.
Round tip guarantees a strong attack and easy control on all surfaces – from the hi-hat to the snare and floor tom. The long taper improves the balance and responsiveness of the stick, which will be especially appreciated by drummers often using advanced articulation.
The sticks are manufactured in Germany from the highest quality American hickory. Each wooden stick is weighed and sorted before processing, which guarantees exceptional weight and density consistency. All pairs are additionally weight & pitch matched, so each offers an identical playing experience.
"When designing these sticks, it was extremely important for me to create a model that complements my playing style. I often play double strokes, so I needed a stick with the right mass and shape that allows for a strong entry into the drum on any surface, offering great rebound – regardless of whether I am playing the hi-hat or floor tom – while remaining well-balanced and not feeling too big. I was inspired by marching sticks, which we then matched in size and design to the drum set. I am incredibly happy with the final result – huge thanks to the fantastic Meinl Stick & Brush team."
