Meinl Snarecraft Cajon - cajon from the Snarecraft series

Cajon from the Meinl Snarecraft series, designed for acoustic playing, rehearsals, concerts, and situations where a compact rhythm instrument is needed instead of a full drum set. The body is made from 7-ply Almond Birch with a thickness of 9 mm, and the frontplate is made from Baltic Birch. This construction provides a warm, focused low end and clear, articulate slap tones.

Inside there are two sets of snare wires, responsible for the clear snare effect. Rounded corners increase playing comfort, while the rear sound port supports sound projection. Rubber feet stabilize the instrument during playing and reduce direct contact between the body and the floor.
