Description
Meinl Sonic Energy Thunder Drum TDL offers strong, low sound effects resembling the sound of thunder. Made from lightweight synthetic material, it is comfortable to hold and easy to use.
The freely hanging metal spring generates a storm effect, while gentle wrist movements allow the sound to be controlled and shaped. Striking the spring with the hand adds sharp, hissing accents, while opening and closing the resonance hole introduces additional variations, including expressive wah-wah effects.
The instrument works very well in “sound journey” sessions, where creating natural, spacious atmospheres is essential, as well as during live performances and creative sound design.
