Description
The new Paiste 900 series are cymbals produced in the company's Swiss factory, traditionally for Paiste using machine techniques from the highest category B8 bronze (using an alloy called 2002 Bronze), under strict computer control. The Paiste 900 series sound is meant to evoke the old 1000 series. Sandy, with prominent high overtones. For tonal balance, the cymbals are slightly aged, resulting in a slightly darker sound, shorter sustain, and unique presence.
