The Free Floating series is a world-renowned range of snare drums with interchangeable shells. Non-penetrating lugs and snare strainer allow for undisturbed, beautiful shell resonance. It features a crisp "crack" at high tunings and a warm, pleasant tone at low tunings. It is one of the few snare drums where unwanted overtones have been reduced to a minimum. The quintessence of a professional snare drum with top-quality craftsmanship. The model with an aluminum shell will have a crystalline sound. Typical for aluminum snare drums is also a lower volume than, for example, steel snares. MasterCast die-cast hoops extend the tuning stability and look beautiful to boot.
