Like the Reference series, the Reference Pure series utilizes a unique shell optimization concept using a specific number of plies and different types of wood depending on its diameter. Its difference lies in the exclusive use of 0.9 mm thick wood plies, achieving minimum shell thickness, which provides maximum resonance. These drums offer a pure sound and are ideal for studio recordings.
